House Rules at The Nest (and RedRock)
House rules at The Nest and RedRock Faqra: three-guest cap, quiet hours, pets, no indoor smoking, light cooking only, pool etiquette and the deer reserve.
What to Know
- Sleeps three. No parties, no extra overnight guests.
- Quiet outside after 11:00 PM, sound carries down the valley.
- Smoke only on the patio. Light cooking, no frying.
- Firewood is not included. Do not feed the deer.
The Nest sits inside RedRock, a residential eco-village. These rules protect neighbours, the shared pools, and the wildlife around you, and they match what we publish on the listing.
Capacity
Up to three guests: one king bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. Overnight stays beyond that aren't allowed.
No parties or events
RedRock is residential. People live here year-round, and sound carries a long way at altitude. Friends over for dinner is fine. A crowd and a speaker isn't.
Quiet after 11pm outside
Inside, keep it reasonable. Outside, the valley hears everything, keep outdoor noise down after 11:00 PM.
Smoking
No smoking indoors, cigarettes or shisha. Smoke only on the patio, terrace or garden.
Pets
Pets are welcome with a heads-up before arrival. Dogs must be leashed while walking on RedRock premises.
Cooking
The kitchenette is for light cooking: pasta, soups, salads and similar. Please don't fry, the space is small and smells linger for the next guest.
Fire pit

Don't leave the fire pit unattended. Firewood is not provided, bring your own or buy charcoal and wood nearby. Let fires burn down rather than dousing them when the ground is dry.
Pool area rules

Shared pools are open roughly 10:00 AM–7:00 PM in season (mid-June through 30 September). No shisha, no BBQ, and no glass or ceramic cups at the pool, use eco-friendly cups only.
Deer and wildlife
For safety, especially with children, do not feed the deer in the reserve.
Eco notes
Please don't throw away detergent and soap bottles when they're empty, they're refillable.
Damage and honesty
Tell us if something breaks. We'd rather know than discover it after you leave.
Checkout
Turn things off, lock the terrace door properly, and close the main door by noon. The smart lock holds it.
The general principle
Treat the chalet and the village the way you'd want neighbours to treat their guests. Do that and you won't think about most of this.
